Join us at our Aurora Based Community Ministries!

This Aurora Based Community Parent Life ministry meets expectant and parenting teens at New Legacy High School and in the community and hosts small groups every Monday from 4:30-6:30pm at New Legacy High School throughout the school year.  Other special activities are available during the summer.

Meeting expectant and parenting teens where they are in the community, Parent Life is an intentional relational ministry driven by one-on-one mentorship and weekly small groups.

We serve teens through community activities and individual relationships. We serve as Christ-centered mentors, advocates, and even as their coaches through our sports programs. Our trained ministry leaders walk alongside these young people and serve them through their day to day lives.

How to Get Involved…

Prayer Team | 8:00am Tuesday morning prayer zoom calls

City Life and Parent Life thrive on prayers and praises to God. Please join us to pray for the ministry, leaders, volunteers, teens and their children.

Hospitality Team

  • Donate a homemade or catered meal – SIGN UP LINK
  • Help with Special Events
    • EX: Stroller Club, Christmas Toy Shop
  • Create a welcoming, warm, seasonal atmosphere for our small groups’ meetings
  • Collect gift cards (for underserved teens, teen parents, kids, ministry leaders and school staff)
  • Provide new baby support (meal and card)
  • Collect items and assemble New Mom Bags (diapers, wipes, sleepers, etc.)

 

Small Group Mentors                                                          *1 year min. commitment

  • Co-Facilitate a small group one time per week and have 2 appointment/building time per month with one of your students

 

Childcare Team – SIGN UP LINK

  • Help with childcare for weekly small group meetings
  • Help with childcare for special events

 

New Legacy Charter School Volleyball Team Support

  • Assist with the students at New Legacy Charter School in Aurora
    • Provide snacks for practices and games
    • Donate new or gently used equipment
    • Coach a sport
      • Volleyball or PE
