Mount View Youth Services Center is a secure, co-ed multi-purpose youth center operated by the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) Division of Youth Services (DYS). Located in Southwest Denver, it provides juvenile detention services, behavioral treatment services for committed students and houses youth ages 10-21, both male and female students.
Our work among these kids is not to see them as "bad kids." Instead, they are hurting kids. We love seeing Jesus minister to their wounds and transform young people's lives in amazing ways! They are literally orphans in our community, and we want to give them a home, which can be found through the love of Christ.
DAYFC offers weekly Bible studies, pastoral counseling, connection with outside resources, mentoring and help transitioning back into the community. To find out more about how to get involved, go here.
